Positive Behaviour Support

Rubix Support have extensive experience in presenting the positive behaviour support framework across a variety of services including: residential services, special and mainstream school environments, lifestyle support agencies, child protective services, and providers of recreation, leisure, and holiday camp programs.

Our success derives from personalising our training to the audience.  We use a number of different methods for engagement and break up our training with practical and real-life examples, along with group sharing and short video.

Rubix Support have three main levels of training:

  • A two-hour introduction to positive behaviour support (particularly helpful for support workers as part of a service’s induction).

  • A one-day positive behaviour support overview.

  • A three-day positive behaviour support training package. (This can include, where appropriate, a visit to the service prior to the training to get a feel of the current situation and a follow up visit at the conclusion of training. For example, a residential setting or school.

The majority of our training is conducted within Melbourne or regional Victoria, however, we can travel interstate where necessary.
